New Zealand tour of India - October/November 2017

@CerealKiller is allowed to talk rubbish from time to time. He's exactly like Pakistan cricket- Brilliant with some posts and then with some others you will wonder wtf is this guy on about?[DOUBLEPOST=1509281444][/DOUBLEPOST]Speaking about the cricket, people are going to go banana's if India win today but I found the batting effort ordinary. If NZ bat sensibly, they should get these.

Well, it's the truth, isn't it? He got them the WC in 2023. :p
Considering India's record in ICC tournaments since 2013 where they managed to reach knockout stages in each of these tournaments. So they certainly don't need the board to hand them anything they are quite capable of winning the tournament everywhere round the world.

I never said anything about the team. All i said is that the BCCI got them a home WC in 2023, and they certainly have a better chance of winning at home than away.

Its more so to do with money and thats the reason every third 50 over world cup will be held in India. I remember reading the latter part when India was announced as the host of 2023 WC.

Meanwhile Kiwis are off to flier Munro batted superbly and Kane williamson is all set for a big one today will be interesting to see how Kohli manages his troops with Bhuvi already off the radar conceding 51 from his 5 overs so far also dew might come into the play as well making it difficult for the spinners to grip the ball.
India with the bat definitely under par they were looking on course to get more than 370 with 242/1 in 38 overs Rohit and Virat set and Pandya to come. They just lost wicket wickets at the wrong time although one must give credits to the NZ bowlers as well as they were quite deceptive with that back of the hand slower ones.

I think the Indian spinners have pulled it back brilliantly. Run rate has gotten a bit too high, i feel. Middle order will have to play exceptionally well.

We have won more ICC tournaments away than at home.

Away tournaments played by India : 20
Home tournaments played by India : 5
If you play more away, you'll obviously win more away.

Again you're talking rubbish. There are 10 cricketing nations.. Obviously you'll play more abroad. Modern day limited overs cricket is such that it doesn't matter where you play. It's about how you play. If anything, wickets abroad are better for batting than in India. Also, the pressure of playing in India for Indians is absolutely ridiculous.

Indian spinners are not as effective abroad. That is a massive advantage at home.

Our fast bowling is good enough for those conditions. And I can challenge your/any other bloke that we have the best limited overs bowling in the world. Our two wrist spinners are pure gold. Only issue is our management and captain.

As for the past- Suggest you look at Harbhajan Singh's performances in ICC tournaments abroad.
