New Zealand tour of Sri Lanka, 2009

I've never been so excited to see someone bowl. I want a rip snorting inswinging yorker first ball.

After all this hype watch him go for 12 an over and not take any wickets.

I remember thinking how quick this guy is when I had the pleasure of seeing him live, bowl against England last year in Wellington. That must have been one of his last matches before being "banned"????? Or am I getting my memories wrong?:)

He was gone before England came. His last tour was in South Africa 07. I do remember him destroying Australia the year before that in Wellington though we won by 10 wickets.

Ah darn, thats it! Bloody Aussie game at the Cake Tin! I saw that with a few mates too. The England game was very one-sided....England all out for 110 or something.

Yea in the last few years we seem to thrash everyone down there. West Indies were all out for not many this year as well.

its very suny now so far no rain after the morning rain. bond hmmm!!! thats gona be enjoyble. too bad he would only bowl 4 overs. by the way what happend to mark gillespie. he was fast on he's day and could hit 6s as well

Gillespie has been injured he missed a lot of last season but he is also very hot and cold so I doubt he would be in the side even if he was fit.

I can picture Andrew Saville saying it now, god I hate him.

Haha I was going to actually add the TV one part to that comment tbh. I swear they hate cricket.

Yeah I spent a frustrating afternoon there in March hoping to see the Indians make hay. They were off and on unfortunately and the game got abandoned. Brilliant atmosphere in the stadium though. I remember thinking I had gone to one of the other matches they played because they were amazing.:)
