Could this be the golden period for India where we are finding great backup options easily? We found Kuldeep and Chahal who took out Ashwin and Jadeja from ODI and T20. Now we are finding Sundar. Same with fast bowling where Unadkat and Thakur are proving to be good backups for our frontline seamers like Kumar and Bumrah. One more piece of the puzzle would be for Shankar and Hooda to prove as good backup allround option for Pandya.

Washington Sundar was superb today 3 wickets in the power play + just 4 runs in the lone death over he bowled.
Mohammed Siraj looks to be more of longer formats player hits the deck hard but in t20s the lengths he bowls basically feeds the batsmen to score big shots.

Siraj has given 148 runs in 3 matches. He takes wickets but he gives too many runs. He is a run machine for opponent teams.

A good win in the end for India. Some lessons that could've been learnt there. Thakur needs to improve his 'initial overs' bowling. Siraj is too raw and definitely needs more work. Sundar is definitely ready for some ODI game time and we've to see how he can be included in ODI's. With Sundar being picked by RCB where Kohli is captain, the days ahead should very likely be bright for him.

The victory underlines the excellent batting by Rohit and Raina in the first innings. And with us in the final, it's good to win a game batting first.

Unadkat has been pathetic to be very honest. I love the make up of W Sundar. IMHO, I would give Shankar a proper run and look to play him as well as Pandya.[DOUBLEPOST=1521212238][/DOUBLEPOST]Modern day captains are so pathetic.
