Nov 25-29: 1st Test: Australia v England at Brisbane

Hehe good pick. It was justified to be calling for his spot as he hadn't produced a 100 in 7 Test or a 50 in 7 innings I believe that was the stat. The main concern was the fact he wasn't playing his free scoring game especially the 1st Test in India. The 2nd Test was encouraging signs and I liked the look of him there but he made it really hard for himself by being forced to play in the ODI series against SL and failing in his Shield knocks before that last minute 100 against Victoria. I've always maintained if he plays his free flowing game then there is no reason why he can't go back to the Hussey of old.

Yeah, I agree he was in a rough patch, but it wasn't the 'be-all end-all' people were making it out to be. I mean, people were putting him in the same bracket as North

Although, he's not looking too good out there atm. Might've jinxed him Jimmy bowling well - a wicket's coming soon.

Yep not the same confident Hussey from yesterday but that ball is doing a bit. Anderson has been lethal and unlucky not to have a wicket. This is what Hilfy needs to do, get that late swing.

England's bowling well. They really need a wicket in the next 5-10 overs before that ball starts going soft.

Just on North, I think this is his last test. It's got to the point now where no matter how big a score he makes in the next innings, he just looks like too much of a liability. I'd dump him and bring in Smith, Khawaja or Ferguson. I'd prefer the last two, as I think our batting is the problem.

pleased for the huss. I kinda liked him going through that bad spell because his average was a stupid reflection of his ability in comparison to much better players and it needed to come down, but he is one of the australian cricketers I really like.

will be quite happy if he racks them up and punter keeps getting out before he's reached 20.

I feel sorry for Anderson and Broad this morning. You need some luck because after the new ball it gets much easier to bat. Australia have batted well, but England needed the luck really and it's proven costly.
