This is a very interesting selection game that I saw in another forum. These are the rules:

This is a turn-based game in which 7-8 players participate.

You give a name for your team and start picking players turn wise.

There are 11 rounds for the users to pick 11 players.

The turn system works like this:

Round 1 starts with Player 1 picking first in the game and ends with Player 8 picking last. Round 2 starts with Player 8 getting the first pick and Player 1 getting the last turn. Simple.

The restriction in this game is, only players who played ODI cricket after 1990 are eligible. So, we are building an ODI side.

The rule for selecting a Wicketkeeper is simple. The player should have been selected in a team to keep wickets in atleast one ODI.

After everyone has taken 11 players, I will use a simming software to simulate a Knockout Tournament between the 8 teams.

Interested people can leave a message in this thread. 8 players only. Users who are active in the forum everyday are more likely to get the nod as they wont hold the game up by getting inactive.

There is a 24 hour time limit to make your pick. If you miss it, you miss your turn. If you know you are going to be inactive beforehand, send me a PM with your selections in white text.

I will update this post after every round.

Im in, King Cricket I think we wait until we have 11 people. I think.

Sounds interesting, but shouldn't it be in the games forum? Anyway, I'm in :).

I remember when I was in a whole bunch of NBA sim leagues. Things would last for a long time, trades were allowed to happen, there was player progress (some players would get worse and the ones with more talent better), we would draft rookies.
