Watson is batting brilliantly, I'm quite impressed with him this far. He looks to be a good top order player. I dunno about consistantly opening with him though, especially if his going to be bowling as well.

I guess we have found our Pathan in Watson although always saw him as a 4 but guess opening could suit him.

Well he just went out to a really stupid shot. I feel the time is over for Martyn, I don't think he'll get back to anywhere he was prior to the Ashes. He wouldn't even be in my starting 11 for the first Ashes Test Match in Brisbane.

Australia are in a bit of trouble here after losing a few quick wickets but hopefully Watson will score a big hundred and Clarke can chip in with 60-70 odd and then us Aussies can relax and watch McGrath take Tendulkar's off stump out of the ground :cool:

People may disagree with me here, but I think India may actually have the advantage right now. The Australian big guns are gone half way through the inning. Clarke will need to stick it out to ensure a big total, which is what is needed with India's batting line up.

Big guns? We only had one in Ponting the rest aren't huge superstars. Cosgrove is a decent hitter so if he sticks around watch out. Haddin also knows hot to finish an inns. After that we're in trouble.

Cosgrove gone now. Harbajan and RP Sing have impressed me today, Pathan has been a dissapointment, far too many full balls. Watson batted beautifuly today, interesting to see how well he bowls tonight. Hope the rain can stay away, it looks very dull and greay at the moment.
