They say there is no career mode. We do not intend waiting another year for the game.

Big Ant have made 505/Trickstar insecure about their game and what we are seeing right now is just a desperate attempt to bounce back.I think they may try to keep Ashes 13 release date far away from Cricket 14's release date as they stand no chance against their mighty competitor.

Well lets just hope Big Ant live up to the hype now. I was hoping for an honest effort for their first game with big improvements for the 2nd when the game was announced..... now i expect more

If it was not because of BigAnt we would have not been here talking, as ashes cricket 2013 would have provided what they have provided for the past 3 games. We are a lucky bunch that Ross has gone out of his way and participate and eagerly answering our questions where he can.

Even if the game is half as good as it sounds i will be happy as i know there will be support available as patches and DLC. i am talking because i have played RLL2 and the way they have supported the game throughout after the release has been nothing less than commendable.

While they might not be cutting PC out, I think the key phrase here (as mentioned by Biggs) is "Controlled Environment." Their facebook page, their rules. That won't be the case here at PC, where members are still looking for heads to swing axes at. The marketing/PR for this game has been an unmitigated disaster; they NEED to have some control.

So confusing man. Just waiting for BA14. I know AC13 will take while so i bought a cheap IC2010 to rehearse the game . AC 13 is really frustrating me .

I don't even know why there is a discussion about this, they will not have a career mode, nothing confusing about that, they clearly state it, and if really if they plan one it will be a rushed one.

Competition can drive even the crappiest of the companies to do wonders. I am sure this delay means vast improvement in an otherwise average game.

While most of you read that as an 'honest apology', I think its more of a 'if we dont apologise, we're screwed'.
Ross had said that the game won't make it on time and there's no way the team missed it or they were unaware. The same apology could have come a long time back.

If they want to play question and answers, my questions to them are -

1. Why did you lie when Ross (CEO, Big Ant Studios) openly announced that the game had no chance of making it on the 21st?

2. What we would like to do is ask you to send us your questions as a post below. The top 10 most frequently asked questions will then be answered in video form from Mike Fegan who heads up Trickstar Games. All other questions will be replied to in text as soon as humanly possible.

   So you admit there was lack of communication, but it took you so long to realise?

   Do you mean to say that the game suddenly went below your expectations two days before release?

   I dont understand what you mean to say. Do you mean the game is not even built close to the final product and you were sure to release to it on time? or is that you don't have a print screen button on your keyboard, but still somehow managed to put up 5 screenshots earlier?

   Why do you add humor to an apologetic post? The whole of what you've put is nothing but excuses!

6. This is specifically for Mike Fegan. Why could you not be man enough to talk to the community earlier? Shouldn't this be your responsibility, as the head of Trickstar; and the shitty record of the other games your studio published, to keep your customers out of illusion? If I were to believe everything what you said, why would you allow and head a press event showing a game which wasn't yet built!?

To end, single foolish game will not success!

I'd rather compromise on graphics, and give my hard earned $30 for a game made by a hard-working, TRUTHFUL developer.
