Okay, so I apologise for my absence from this. The current situation is as follows:

• The index is updated.
• @VC the slogger has missed two picks, so we can skip his picks until he comes back to make picks.
• @pillowprocter has one late pick to make.
• @Paranoid Kendroid has made one invalid pick (Fidel Edwards did not play recently enough to be eligible.)

First things first... let's have a look at the XI I've assembled so far.

What we do need is a keeper. Given that this will be an all-format XI someone who can do the job adequately without sacrificing a lot of batting skill is needed. And while his keeping left much to be desired on the dustbowls of India six years ago... Matthew Wade is still a keeper in T20s and would be for Tasmania in List A too if not for the Doran project. More importantly though he offers a fairly acrobatic option while also being an excellent batter in all three formats who can bat anywhere in the top seven. Even if we don't pick up another keeper for first-class cricket I'd be happy enough to give Wade the gloves there too given he's still fit and has experience of keeping at the highest level.
