R.Raja: Ladies and Gentleman welcome to the Presentation Ceremony of the first ODI of this Sharjah Cup. Well it was a one-sided game but still was interesting but the winners were Pakistan by 174 runs. Firstly I would like to call up the losing captain Ricky Ponting for a few words please.

R.Raja: Well Ricky tough luck today.

Yeah it was a difficult day for us today. We didn't really perform well with both ball and especially the bat but all credit goes to Pakistan.

R.Raja: At one stage you had Pakistan at 105/3 in 25 overs but thats when Misbah and Afridi came. What do you think of Misbah's knock.

Misbah played beautifully. He and Afridi took the game away from us. But yeah under the circumstances he played a captains knock.

R.Raja: The next game in the Series is against New Zealand. What are you going to particularly focus on?

Well we think we will have two of our big guns in Matty Hayden and Andy Symonds back so that will boost our batting. Hopefully we will be ready to go out and win our next game against the Newzealanders.

R.Raja: Hard luck today Ricky. The Australian captain Ricky Ponting. I would now like to call up the winning captain Misbah-ul-Haq of the Pakistan team to collect a cheque of 500 US Dollars and to share a few words with us.

R.Raja: Well Misbah, congratulations on your first win as captain. Were you under any pressure out there in the middle?

Thank you very much Rameez. Well there is always pressure out there in the middle as a captain as your mind is in different positions and is focused entirely on the game.

R.Raja: You made 74 off 89 balls today. You also came at a time where the bowlers were on top of you. What was the track for batting like?

Well the ball was coming quickly off the pitch in the first 30 overs. After that I started to settle in and got into my stride.

R.Raja: Well stay here as you have won todays Man Of The Match award which was decided by the viewers at home for your Innings of 74. Well played Misbah.
