Gul and Tanvir crush Middle-Order
(Hussey still there for Australians)​

Clarke and Hussey rotated the strike quite frequently as Misbah allowed the Australians to get the singles. Tanvir started his 9th over from the Pavilion End. He immediately removed Clarke with a fantastic yorker which Clarke was late to react on.

D.Jones: Here is Tanvir to start his penultimate over. Thats gone. What a beauty from Tanvir! That just about sums up his day he gets his third wicket with a beauty. Now the Australians are in deep deep trouble. Clarke goes for just 7 as Australia are now 59/4.

This brought Brad Haddin to the crease. Gul had not been giving anything in his 3 overs as he had just gone for 4 runs. Gul started his fourth over and removed Haddin by another yorker. Haddin was late to react on it similar to Clarke. Pakistan started celebrating and they knew that this game was shifting in their favour.

R.Raja: Thats another one. Umar Gul is on fire here at Sharjah just look at the crowd they have gone wild. Haddin goes for 1 and Australia are in a deep hole.

Australia's trouble did not end there. Michael Hussey was looking at the wickets tumble. Hussey had a long chat with White informing him about the pitch and the bowlers. However, he was also clean bowled by Gul for a duck. Hussey was furious as he looked in anger.

D.Jones: Fantastic bowling by Gul. Thats his third wicket as White departs. The Australians' hopes are slowly draining away. White goes for a duck as Australia are now 66/6.

James Hopes arrived to the crease. It was as if Hussey was fighting Pakistan alone as he released the pressure given by the Pakistani bowlers. Hussey was playing very well as he smashed 5 fours and raced on to 28 off 24 balls.

All Hopes has to do is rotate the strike. The Australians have one hope now and that is "Mr.Cricket" Michael Hussey to get them anyway near this total. But at the moment, Pakistan are firm favourites to win this match.

Yes I am using updated kits. Except the Pakistan one I am using their typical Sharjah Kit. The Australian one is new for the 2008 season.
