Malik isn't injured. He has come to the ODI squad since he is fit now.

Good to hear Akhtar will play tomorrow. He needs some match practice.

Gud to c Shoaib Akhtar in action... he comes in action after 6 months.... Hope that he performs well in this ODI series....

Should be a good 20/20 match, the English bowlers will be up against it with Afridi, Razzaq, Akmal all ready to smash it. English have more experience in the 20/20 format which will work in their favour.

Yes should be a fantastic match. I think England will just shade it with a hopeful return to form of Trescothick. A lot rides on how Harmison bowls.

Yes although Pakistan have better players for this format of the game.

Just heard on GEO that Akthar will play this game, look forward to seeing a very good Pakistani Side.
Same here. Although I would much rather have had this team for the tests.

You'd think that but of the hitters only really Maddy and Cameron White have been prolific. Langer, Ramps, etc all strong technical players are big run scorers in 20/20.

Should be a good game, weather looks fine after some overnight rain.

Question is who would be our 5 bowlers?

Gough and Harmison are definites. Probably Saj too.

So which spinner? JD or Yardy? I'd opt for latter although JD did well he has only recently recovered from injury, or play both, both are known for keeping it fairly tight.

2 spinners could work.

Not sure when the actual match starts, but Sky's coverage starts at 2:30.

I think Yardy and Broad should play today just to give them some experience for the upcoming ODI's.

Certianly Broad for me he should of played in the last test instead of Hoggard who was strugglng a bit with injury.
So he has to play now.

How long does a T20 international normally last? I'm wondering if I should get some sleep before it starts.

about 1 hour 15 each innings with a 20 minutes break which is about under 3 hours.

Well England will be skittled for 30, and Pakistan will chase it down in the first over. So all in all, i'd say about 45 minutes.

I just can't see England bowling Yousef, Inzi and Khan out.
