Shahid Afridi is inconsistent personified; your best bet for runs is Yousef or Inzamam.

Yup, now they've got to stretch the next 2 to 350 runs though!
Good performance today; I'm still very concerned about our batting frailties but Cook, Colly and Bell have certainly all given the selectors a headache as to who to drop.
I really think Panesar can extract turn and bounce tomorrow and hopefully we can get the two big wickets in the first session - Inzi and Yousuf.

We suffer the odd collapse, apart from that they do pretty well. Batting in ODIs yes needs work on, in Tests? Well Strauss is out of form.

Good last session for England and what a catch by Colly, looks even better from side on, he had no right to catch that!

Once we go 5 down you really start to expect the next 5 to follow quickly. Jones isn't performing at 7, Plunkett looks way out of his depth at 8, Hoggard can stick around but is limited and Harmison and Panesar are good for entertainment but you never expect them to last long. Add that to the fact that Bell is at 6 for this game and usually gets either 0 or 50! Had Pakistan held their catches and had some close decisions go their way England could have been struggling to get 250.
That said credit to the team for a great performance and lets hope we can keep it up in the series.
