Kudos to the Pakistan fans for not whining and moaning.
There is no point in moaning. Injuries happen all the time, especially to fast bowlers. A team should be able to perform without them. I don't mind losing after fighting hard, but looking at the second test you can hardly say that.

I agree with you there. Injuries play a major part in a team's performance but the team should still be able to fight for a victory. England have been doing it since India.

I'd be surprised if GoJo plays in Aus.

I agree with you.

Read have to perform well in the upcoming Test matches if he wants to stake his claim. Personally I would have let Read played a long time ago for England, since he is the better runmaker and the better person with the gloves.

Also the good news from Pakistan side is that Asif is bowling again.

A piece about the keeping situation and how players have done when they've been recalled after being dropped (Harmison, Hoggard and Flintoff) Who have all come back brilliantly.

Angus fraser is the writer.

I've also e-mailled via the feedback on CricInfo arguing John Sterns word of calling Chris Read a specialist.

I just get the feeling that we are going to see a fantastic performance by Read in the next Test, or an abysmal one. He will bag 5 catches in both innings and score a 100, or he will bag a pair. Either way, I think he will perform exceptionally well with the mitts on though.

Shahid Afridi has been Dropped.

Really? Can you provide a source?

It's definitley the right decision in my opinion though. He's just too inconsistent.

1 Salman Butt, 2 Taufeeq Umar, 3 Younis Khan, 4 Mohammad Yousuf, 5 Inzamam-ul-Haq (capt), 6 Abdul Razzaq, 7 Kamran Akmal (wk), 8 Mohammad Sami, 9 Umar Gul, 10 Shahid Nazir 11 Danish Kaneria

WTF?? Shahid Nazir?? what are these Pakistanis doing? Azar Mehmood, get Mushy, Danish Kaneria has done nothing whole series, stupid dumn PCB, F*** sake!

I would get Shahid Nazir in, he deserves a chance.

But they need to get Mohammad Sami out, that guy is useless.

There's no point of getting Mushy back, he's 36 and will retire after a year or so, taking Danish out would just hurt his confidence. Dont forget he has won us matches over the past 2-3 years.
