It's an early judgement but the correct one imo, Read just looks more natural with the gloves imo.

This game looks to be a draw so far, but it is only the second day. Who knows, one or two late wickets could blow this game wide open. If Pakistan save this Test they will be full of confidence for The Oval.

Both teams have bowled too short on this pitch; I'm know expert, but look how Shahid Nazir bowled in his first spell yesterday, that's how it should be done.

Very nice batting performance by Younis and Yousuf once again. They handled the pressure well after the openers failed once more. If they both go on to make big hundreds Pakistan are with in a chance of making something out of this match..........still 3 days left.

Yeah, I didn't watch the last 30 minutes cause it was boring. And when I checked cricinfo the last over was like 1.6.0.2.4.1 =P
Pietersen got smashed! :)

Indeed he did, but scoring runs against Pietersen isn't the hardest thing in the world to do. It will be a tough ask for England to dislodge Yousef tomorrow.

I don't think England bowled well enough today. Hoggard looks out of form, Mahmood looks out his depth, Headingley never helps spinners and the pitch was never going to suit Harmison.
That said well done to Yousuf and Younis for their crucial partnership.

Your comments make me even more pessimistic as we don't have much other bowling options. I still think Pakistan can win this.

Well a theory I've been pushing for a while was mentioned again in one of the Cricinfo columns today and that is to go to Aus with a 4 bowler attack, replacing Mahmood/Plunkett with Flintoff.

I don't agree with that because a lot of our success in recent years has bene built on us having 4 frontline bowlers and an allrounder as the fifth. I would no play a 4 bowler attack against Australia.

Iqbal was saying something to KP, then KP said something back. lol

Until Iqbal scores a century he shouldn't be sledging KP; There is only going to be one winner, as KP proved.

I don't care because I hate Iqbal, the thing is that it was funny lol.

Pakistan need to keep both Younis and Yousuf in to win to even draw.

I doubt pakistan can win this, winning after the other team has hit over 500 is near impossible, although its happened a few times. the morning will be crucial, if england get quick wickets were on for the win.

If Yousef and Khan can put on another hundred, and then Inzi chips in with a century then Pakistan can win. I think the draw is the more favourable result, but Pakistan will take a lot of confidence into the final test if they draw this match.
