hey fardin, what happened to u, man?? Pakistan winning both is not possible at all.. I know they would want to have revenge but it does not mean they will be successful in it.. India is not a foolish team to let them have it. If you go by the tests in the past year, India have been the better of Pakistan by a long way.. ODI's - well ODI's are one off games. We cant say who would win on that parrticular day. So, its a 50-50 scenario. But in test matches, India should easily put it across Pakistan!

Where were you when pakistan beat india in Asian Test tournament,The kolkata crowd where crying and tears were shattering like never before.Go please check the cricinfo stats between two teams in test matches over the past years'You would probably see pakistan having the upper hand,

Back When wasim bahi was in that pakistan bowling department,Pakistan use to role big,But I will give india credit by beating pakistan in the test matche's In pakistan'I dont know what will be the out come of this series be,But I can tell you that It would be close to comfort for both team's.

I doubt that india might win the test matche's but as of now it is 50/50 I hope pakistan win but I hope india put a good fight.Want to see both team's Performe will, :upray

India start favorites in the tests !! Would u ever say before th start of a series against Australia that `I hope the aussies put up a good fight` !!
India is World No.3 in tests and knocking at the doors of the No.2 spot ,
So do not worry about India putting up a good fight in tests .
It is we who should hope that Pak put up a good fight in the test matches !
India at home is a formidable outfit and ur gr8 fast bowlers would fing it very difficult on the dustbowls in India in the heat of summer
U have just one quality spinner and r not gr8 a facing spin as well
To win in India u have to have dead accurate bowlers as AUS had in 2004 or u need to have a gr8 spinner
Even warne was ineffective in India
On the btting side of things , the batsman need to be very very patient and prepared to grind the Indin spinners or else they will be in trouble which th Aussies found out in 2001
If th pakistanis bat th way they did against the aussies in the tests , Iam afraid it will be a one sided affair
In ODIs it is 60-40 to Pak

yes i agree with adithya... INDIA is gonan win it fardin in test and odi well odi is gonan be a nice 1 to see but I THINK INDA WILL WIN THIS 1 I think india wants revenge because they got beat 4 times by pakistan don't worry FARDIN WE gonna WIN JAI HIND!!!

If memory serves me correctly, there was religous violence there a couple of years ago. I may be wrong though.

it is to me a mixture of two factors

1) the tragic events of feb-march 2002 and more so the hyper-representation/distortion of the facts by the international and national media has led to Ahmedabad being thought of as a ghastly place...so its natural that Pakistani players are worried about it...also they didn't have a nice experience there some time back in 80's...

2) there's a bit of tit-for-tat for Shahryar Khan in it...If India refused a test at Karachi we will do it for Ahmedabad...

but the real fools are BCCI...they stick to that foolish rotation policy(which they are already forgoing now)...instead they could have had Pakistan tests at Mohali, Bangalore and Chennai and SL (Sept OCt 2005) tests at Ahmedabad, Nagpur and Mumbai...but their thinking is feudal...and foolish...

EDIT: Thankfully PCB has agreed to the sixth odi in Ahmedabad...

mumbai,chennai,kolkata,bangalore,mohali

i don't think u got my point right there. i listed this kinda itinerary because the lankans may protest against playing in chennai (which i am sure will be put forth in their itinerary)...and pakistan were sure to have problems with Ahmedabad...and what you call is a small city is the seventh largest city in the country with a population racing towards 6 million mark...and the ground and stadium in Ahmedabad can stand up to any ground in India in terms of facilities to the players and the no. of people it can accomodate(must be about 50000 when India play Pakistan in an ODI)...thats personal experience of mine...same I think can go for Nagpur which is a smaller town but the grounds very good...Kanpur is sure to get stripped off its test status and Kotla is under rennovation...

anyway this series Pakistan can play without unnecessary internal pressures as Shoiab is out of it...

MUMBAI,KOLKATA and CHENNAI are like the GABBA,MCG and SCG of Indian cricket
Prsahant (sachinisgod) , I said Ahmedabad must be allotd more of ODIs bcoz we rarely get huge crowds for test matches at Ahm`bad but r certainly ensured of a huge crowd in ODIs (just hve a look at the match vs NZ in 2002)
I have seen quite a bit of test cricket now and have observed that the only stadia in India where we get huge crowds for test matches even on weekdays r Mumbai,Chennai and Kolkata (just roll back ur mind to the AUS test series in 2004 and series vs Sa )
We had a full house at the wankhede on a weekday in the recent test match which I do not think will happen at any of the other venues .
In any test series i England the 1st match is always played at Lords or in a series in AUS the first game is mostly played at the GABBA .
What is the harm in having a system where the first game of an India test series is always played at Mumbai or Chennai .
As regards to kanpur, the pitch there would rarely produce results

I read one of these funny yet stupid looking posts of fardin on this forum yet again . I thought this was quite a suitable place to respond .
Fardin U say we indians never speak fair , just read this whole thread and u will find most of us agreeing to the fact that Pak have a better chanc in the ODIs but it is u who never agree that India r the fav in the tests . What sachinisgod said about the MAC crowd`s gesture in 1999 was absolutely correct . I don`t think u must hve seen it as i doubt whether u would have been born in 1999 looking at ur posts . U seem to be giving us examples of shahid`s posts but do u remember the way u used foul language to insult shahid in the Pak in Aus thread . Shahid is by far the most unbiased member in this forums ! His r the most matured looking posts and Iam sorry to say , urs are the most childish ones !
When did any of us indian members in the forum say `Pakistan team sucks` ??? most of us have always been saying , pakistan r one of the most talented sides in world cricket

crowd riots can take place at any ground especially during Indo-Pak matches
It even happened in Pak in India`s 1989 tour to Pak .
What makes the gesture by the chennai crowd in 1999 even more commendable is that Indo-Pak relations were not th best during those times (no peace talks and things lik that in 1999)
