Tendulkar given not out twice, one of those times even when he himself should have had the decency to walk... both times he made 50+. So if he is given out once when he wasnt, its still unfair to Pakistan, not to you.
He made 41 in this innings. And you're just pointing out how bad the umpires are? So I guess we should just have respect for these top-notch umpires and ignore their regularly incorrect decisions. And obviously Indians will be fired up with decisions against India--that is what is closer to our heart. But at the same time we can ignore that the umpires are getting worse in quality.

Maybe you guys will be happier if umpires will be eliminated and only computers and machines make the decision.
I take that back... if that happened, then you guys will complain about the people who program the computers and claim that they are biased too.

Plus, at least on this message board I dont see any Indians complaining about the decisions that have gone in your favor, I only see bitching when a decision goes against India.

If we do not moan for decisions that went in our favor, does that mean we're happy with it?? It hurts more when it goes against us and thats absolutely human. I can moan when it goes against us.

And I do not wish to stir up the walking issue. If one gentleman does it, Tendulkar does not need to do it. He has the right. Gilchrist had his own opinion on walking and he followed it.

Actually no because we Indians will be the ones programming it!

Well VVS is playing some sexy shots. Maybe there is hope still to save this match. Although I don't expect the Indians will collapse in their second innings if they are looking for a draw. Here is a question--do you think India will chase 350-400 runs in a day? Or try to?

Sexy shots(ha ha)

To answer your question,I think yes,They need 2-0 to move on the test tabel they might just go after The bowlers,Sehwag might just go crazy In the last day.

Yeah but they need to make sure they do not get out! Aamer Sohail has been saying that Pakistan should take the risk because as it is they are losing the series 1-0, so if they can win it 1-1 or lose it 2-0 they shoudl take the risk. India should not mind. :) Manjrekar actually suggests setting a target of 300 in 115 overs. Isn't that easy even on a fifth day wicket? All depends on Sehwag, really.

50 partnership for the 10 wicket.....Hope laxman can make a century

If this partnership continues After lunch, then I dont think pakistan has any chances in wining the match really, they have to bat today then make a good score,Put india bat on the last day with a good target under the hand,And making india all out with out them reaching the target,That seems to be a hard job.

Indeed. India just need to bat for 30-60 minutes after lunch and their job is done. The pitch still looks quality-batting type and thus it shouldn't be easy to dismiss the Indians in the second innings. Here's the thing--if Pakistan are to dismiss India in their second innings it has to be the spinners who chip in. And if the Pakistan spinners are good enough to dismiss India a second time, then you can be damn sure that the Indian spinners will make Pakistan's second innings a difficult affair.

There you go--Afridi has done the trick. Now the onus is on Pakistan to set a good target. This match is still wide open, and if Pakistan are positive, all three results are possible! By the way, and this came up in that fascinating Fourth Umpire show, does anyone think Afridi's faster ball needs to be looked at (in terms of the chucking). Just a thought. I didn't catch it on the replay so I cannot make a comment.

this match is 70% most likely to be a draw

even though paistan have batted brillantly in the first 11 ov they are still gonna bat out the whole day and make a score around 350 so just incase india wont chase it on the last day.

i think the key here is if pakistan let india bat 10 ovs today and if they grab 1 or 2 wickets ill put all my money on pakistan winning this match

wheras if india can restrict pakistan to 300 or under (highley unlikely) ill put all my money on them winning. but if pakistan lose this match pakistan would not deserve it because they have dominated every single day apart from yesterday. yesterday was probably 50-50 to both teams

The thing is that if Pakistan are to win this match, they have to give India a sniff of victory. Thus if there is hope for Pakistan there is hope for India. If there is no hope for Pakistan, it will be a draw. Pakistan seem to have given up on the game though, they are scoring just 3 runs an over after tea.

well pakistan have made 304/2 now they can easily make anything over 370-380 i cant see india winning this one

Wasnt Billy Bowden the umpire when Tendulkar was actually out padding up to an inswinger by Sami yesterday?

Tendulkar given not out twice, one of those times even when he himself should have had the decency to walk...

great, so after concentrating hard thru bowlers run up, face a 85 mph ball, play his shot, Sachin should somehow switch his mind to how the delivery looked from umpires end, judge the swing/seam, judge if it was not pitched out side the line or hit out side the line, and it was indeed going to hit the stumps, and do all this in couple of seaonds!!! and then walk. hmm well Shahid most of his fans do consider him a god but this is asking too much now.

and someone mentiond Gilli walking, I can't imagine him or any batsman in history walking on a lbw appeal!

I put this match at 50-40-10, now:

50% Draw
40% Pakistan win
10% India win

I think if Pakistan can get Sehwag out by close of play today, they will win the match tomorrow. The ball is definitely turning there, and Kaneria could cause problems when bowled in longs spells.

If late on day 4 Pakistan are scoreing at 5/over against Kumble and Bhajju, I expect India to atleast bat out 100 odd overs if not go for the win..having said that you never know what happens with Viru. But in any case India shouldn't lose this one, it'll be a good test for the batting line up..
