Pakistan tour of Australia (Dec 2016 - Jan 2017)

And you've made that conclusion from one win?
Yeah. First one in Australia in 13 years.

You can still keep Rizwan as keeper.
And Sarfraz as a specialist batsman?

Yeah. First one in Australia in 13 years.

Using that logic, maybe we should bring back the likes of Abdul Razzaq, Salman Butt and Yasir Hameed because they were in the win 12 years ago.

I think you clearly missed the sarcastic note in my original reply. Hafeez doesn't provide anything new to the team, in fact the only reason he went on to score the 70 odd in the 2nd ODI was because he was dropped by Smith Smith when he was on a single digit score.

Pakistan desperately need a proactive/agressive captain to lead from the front and change the mentality of the players and board, and Hafeez definitely isn't that!

For the 2nd one day, Hafeez really did an amazing aggressive job as a captain but surely we can't make a conclusion just because of one game.

First 5 overs : 43 runs
Next 5 overs : 07 runs

Babar Azam equalizes record with Sir Viv Richards for fastest 1000 Runs, stands with Kevin Peterson, Quntic De Kock and J.Trott.. What a player he is, He a huge prospect. His technique is sound and he is there to stay in International Cricket Insha'ALLAH

Babar is someone who reminds me a kind of Inzamam, He is no Yousuf, He takes his time solidly and aggressive when the time arrives, There is a long way to go for him, Hopes He gets good backing from the management.

PS: Liked the Beatings Sharjeel did early on to Australia. Great Start!

It is quite sad that Lynn has been affected by yet another injury. He could've cemented his spot in the XI, really good player. Now he has to start from scratch again. Sigh.

Pakistan lost it in the last 10 overs.. The Culprit is Umar Akmal I'll have to say, He ate up too many balls and instead of taking charge and supporting Babar Azam, Collapsed yet again after Azam went for 84, That's a psychological problem with them, Always collapse in the last ten when they build up good. Unpredictability still at its best.

PS: Umar Akmal has not learnt a single thing. I wonder how many million times he will get chances to play in the team.

Pakistan would be disappointed with their slog overs effort. Perth is a flat track these days. I hope they are not 20 short here.

Dare I say he is the Rohit Sharma of Pakistan?
At least he performs.
Rizwan wasn't even trying to go big. Just wanted to get a not out to boost his average. Send him home!

Dare I say he is the Rohit Sharma of Pakistan?

Hmm well I haven't seen Rohit well enough to judge but I am sure he will be better talented and focused than Akmal, Isnt Rohit the one who did 260 in a one day game?
