Better players tend to have more power at all levels, particularly in limited overs. It makes going over the top less risky. The line up England played this series with lacks power bar maybe Salt. The first team minus Root are all quite powerful players. I do like seeing Vince get runs, he is basically a better/younger version of Denly with the bat.It should've been Pakistan's game at 165/5. They've literally let off England easily from that position. Pakistan would sit and think if they had Stokes out a little early it would've made a little difference.
I think yesterday's performance also proves that why the present England team of Roy, Bairstow, Root, Morgan, Stokes & Buttler is valued so much. Those guys they take risks and try to hit in the air every now and then but what works for them is they don't find the fielders or get knocked over unlike yesterday. It also proves that not every team can play agressively and get results like England's full strength team.
Good effort I would say from Vince and Gregory to help England recover and eventually win the match.
Probably have become a first choice back up after yesterday's performance? I would just hope that he doesn't throw away his opportunities like Denly did.I do like seeing Vince get runs, he is basically a better/younger version of Denly with the bat.

There's Malan, Billings, Livingstone to get ahead of to become first choice back up.Probably have become a first choice back up after yesterday's performance? I would just hope that he doesn't throw away his opportunities like Denly did.
Far more competitive for him than expected. There's Malan, Billings, Livingstone to get ahead of to become first choice back up.
The four of them are close. Malan aka Duckie didn't do himself favours last 2 outings thoThere's Malan, Billings, Livingstone to get ahead of to become first choice back up.
We're going to beat a full strength England side today, aren't we
