Pakistan Tour of England and Ireland - July/September 2016

Irish batting will depend a lot on Stirling and Joyce.

Ire won the toss and elected to bowl first.

Azhar does not fit as an opener or captain of an ODI team. I don't know why they haven't tried Sami Aslam along with Sharjeel Khan, both are modern openers.

Watching Azhar score 1 off 11 in the Powerplay is such a pain in the backside.[DOUBLEPOST=1471520937][/DOUBLEPOST]And he's out.[DOUBLEPOST=1471521017][/DOUBLEPOST]In comes the God of Flat Track Bullies.

Does Hafeez know the meaning of strike rotation? He's 0 off 8

Azhar Ali last ODI half-century came back in July 2015 (11 innings) make it 12

Sharjeel Khan last ODI half-century came back in December 2013 (10 innings) the streak is over !!!

Sarfraz have scored just 2 fifties ever since that 100 against Ireland in the WC (16 INNINGS)

M.Hafeez is Pakistan best ODI batsman beside Babar Azam.

Now that you're done with digging up Cricinfo archives, i will tell you that Sarfraz has batted way too low for the last year.

The way Pakistan has collapsed in the last year or so NO 6 / 7 looks like a no 3 :)

Pakistan will only start winning when they start to induct youngsters instead of these Malik and Hafeez.
For me if we use following team for an year, we can produce some interesting results,

Sharjeel Khan/Jaahid Ali
Sami Aslam
Babar Azam
Azhar Ali/Saud Shakeel
Fawad Alam
Sarfraz Ahmed (Wk)(C)
Mohammad Nawaz/Anwar Ali
Imad Wasim/ Yasir Shah
Mohammad Amir
Junaid Khan/Wahab Riaz
Hassan Ali/Umar Gul

This should be Gul's last tour if he does not perform atleast above average. Along with these 17 players, selectors should consider Ahmed Shehzad, Umar Akmal (if they start behaving well), Fakhar Zaman, Asad Shafiq, Amad Butt, Zia-ul Haq, Mohammad Rizwan, Ehsan Adil and Hammad Azam. So this is a total pool of 26 players which should be groomed to play next ODI Worldcup.

Hafeez, for the sake of the team, please get out!

He's so out of touch. I hope he doesn't play a single match against England.
