Shadab at 4 would be an interesting move for sure, but he needs to regain some batting form. Regardless, don't think there's any free spot in the top 4, since Haider is on the bench as well. He could be a good number 5 in the future.
 
I hope Shadab doesn't suffer Irfan Pathan's fate, with his bowling being ruined by the ambition of becoming an all-rounder, and ending up as a bits and pieces player. Misbah clearly wants him to focus more on batting, as he was his coach at Islamabad United last year when he began batting up the order, and he basically played as a batsman and part-timer in the England Tests last summer. His bowling performance has already suffered a lot.
 
Yeah I'm confused about Shadab's bowling. He was close to world-class a few years ago, you could see the difference he was making with the ball and how batsmen feared him. Where as now he doesn't seem to be.. that threatening?

Shadab is a massive misfit at #4. #6 or #7 is better for him. Let's not forget that his main role is as a leg-spinner. If he isn't bowling well, his importance to the side decreases massively. With the likes of Saud Shakeel, Haris Sohail, and Haider Ali in the ranks, Shadab will struggle to get a slot above #6.

Haider is a future star. I will definitely have him at #4 and give him an extended run.

Faheem provides great balance to the side. He is a must in the XI.

Also, it is great to see that the 2-3 years of investment in Faheem from Mickey & Sarfaraz is finally paying off. Credit to those two, Misbah, Younis, Yousuf and of course Faheem himself.
 
Shadab was a brilliant bowler back in 2017 now he is not bowling the same he also not getting the wickets.

A slap to those who used to say Mickey couldn't produce a good all rounder instead of Shadab.
