Pakistan Tour of South Africa and Zimbabwe - April / May 2021

Zaman trying to do his best Stokes impression. If he prevails, this is hands down the greatest innings in a Pakistani run-chase. And tbf to him, 93 off 48 is perfectly achievable in a modern-day chase.

But this is basically me blowing smoke up my own ass, 'cause we all know it ain't gonna happen. Needed Faheem or Asif to stick around for much longer, and we still would've had a plausible chance. Even Rizwan and Shadab for that matter. Rauf, Shaheen and Hasnain is too fragile of a tail. Proper rabbits, these three.

Where are Hasan Ali and Wahab Riaz when you need them. :/

Like I said, Rauf, Shaheen and Hasnain are rabbits. Surprised Shaheen's been able to survive for this long.

Asif Ali really is stealing a living on the international stage. Would even say that calling him up for the World Cup when he was in such personal distress might have possibly ruined him permanently at the highest level.

Fakhar damn! 200 in the line?

I completely agree with you in that, Asif should not have been in the national team during the times of his personal distress. I really feel for him because of what he went through, something I would not wish on anyone. But his performances at the national level are quite frustrating.

I'm just gonna regurgitate something I read on Twitter during the last game with which I 100% agree with, 'Wahab Riaz has won us more games with the bat than Asif Ali ever will'.

Pakistan's only chance at chasing this was a miracle from Zaman. And he's done far well and beyond what was expected. A shame that the next best score is just 31.

Why is there no retrospective checking for penalty runs in this day and age when you refer for the simplest of things?!

I still think this is a bit too much to chase but Zaman isn't going to give up.
