Pakistan v Australia in England, June-July 2010

wow how close was that?

If Australia had 50 or 60 more they would have won that game

Come on, get some grace you pak fans at the ground, booing ponting again, you won the game on the back of his winning the toss. Bad winners.

Really enjoyed this series a lot. Was seen as a pointless, nothing series before it started but it's been superb entertainment. We've seen 2 Tests played on genuinely excellent Test wickets offering something for both bat and ball. More Test series like this and the ludicrous 'Test cricket is dying' talk will soon disappear completely. Hope the England-Pakistan series is as good as this one.

yeah i started cringing when they were booing. Way to ruin the victory by a few stupid fans.....

I agree.Test cricket has its own charm.I enjoy it more than ODI's.

I'm not sure how I feel about everyone suddenly showing up to watch the last 20 overs. Fair weather fans (in the strictest sense) or just overpriced tickets?

Why would you boo Australia?

Pakistan won the match cant they just be happy about that?

To be fair, it was only a couple of fans. The ground was half empty anyway. I've never heard anyone boo a visiting side back in Pakistan, so this really isn't something you can associate with Pakistani fans. If I remember correctly, I heard a few boos when Salman Butt walked on stage as well, they were probably just a couple of drunks trying to ruin the spirit of the game.

Yeah ok fair enough :) To be honest I enjoy Pakistan fans they keep cricket interesting and fun

I feel sorry for Butt having to shake Pontings Hamden which he's spit in about 50 times today...

Thats true must be horrible lol

Finally we won a test match. And it helps that it's against Australia. Hopefully this will give Pak much more confidence against England.

Pakistan certainly did their best to almost blow that game but they deserved that win and hopefully now the selectors start taking notice of those collapses.
