I actually agreed with his decision to have a slog. Its not like there was alot of batting to come and thus far this innings the batsmen who've tried to defend have been gotten out for alot less than Afridi did.

Plus it was great fun to watch

1) he had already got 16 off the over, could've defended the last bowl
2) they're 120 odd runs behind
3) he's an experienced player and the captain, naturally calls for a bit more responsibility given the situation
4) he's exposed the tail, could've stuck around with Butt to get closer to the target

he wouldn't have made 30 if he scratched around.... he does not have the technique to survive in those conditions...

I am more appalled at Butt for exposing the tail quite comfortably....

Love Katich. Such an underrated player. He has been Australia's best batsman for a while, imo.

Unlike others, I actually enjoy watching him bat. Must be the Rahul Dravid fan in me .
