I really dont know what to make of the debutants. Both looked good, but they are not the kind of players you want when you are playing Australia.

Terrible innings that was. 5/83 and he came in with Butt settled, he just needed to be A CAPTAIN and fight it out.

If he played like he did in the first innings, he might even have made 50. Like Salman Butt and Umar Akmal before him, he'd predetermined that he was going to go after the part-time offie.

I thought first innings he had a legitimate reason to go after the bowlers because they were dominating Pakistan and Pakistan weren't scoring.

Second innings however after its been proven that the pitch is a good un by your openers he just swung wildly without using his brain. Terrible.

Had he stayed in a partnership for any length of time Pakistan would have had half a chance.

And Akmal's out. No chance now.

As if the second one was a nothing delivery, he had the build-up then executed the quicker one to perfection.

Dreadful batting by Pakistan. Salman Butt should migrate to a different country. The batsmen seem to just be copying Afridi. Akmal's shot was dreadful, probably worse than Afridi's, just because he had tried a slog the ball before and it was not the ball to try and hoik over square leg.

At this rate Bangladesh could beat Pakistan in a test series.
