Ponting really made some work out of his LBW escape. The most problematic thing was that the Pakistani field let him take easy singles, so he could get worked in.

Even if Pakistan gets the Australian batsmen out early I still feel they will have problems with getting the tail out.

And once again proof that Dougie and Mitch will always struggle to bowl well in the traditional English conditions. They need to pitch it up a bit, but both of them are 'bang the ball in just short of a length as fast as possible' bowlers. I'm afraid it's what being brought up on Aussie pitches does for a bowler.
