Pakistan vs England Jul-Aug-Sep 2010

Now you can see why Pakistan selected guys like Moin Khan and Rashid Latif. They couldn't bat as well as many keepers during their time but they held on to the catches. They did the primary job really well and they did ok with the secondary job.

Both Moin and Latif were below average keepers in all honesty.

Their intensity is just terrible. They look like this is their first match in weeks. There were far fewer skill errors in the last series and it's not like England have created any extra pressure.

I highly doubt that they dropped catches and stumpings like Akmal did today on a consistent basis during their entire careers.
I also find it hard to believe that there isnt a better pure wicketkeepers in Pakistan.

You have to take into account Akmal's performance. Two sitters dropped in a day really makes shoulders drop.

Moin and Rashid was very good as a keeper they never put down catches and stumps like that. Akmal was very well behind stumps in Australia series but suddenly he looks same ugly Akmal.

There is Zulqarnain Haider and Sarfraz both are better keepers then Akmal but its his batting which keeps him in the team.

Really nice innings this is from Morgan. Came in when England needed a solid partnership and has been pretty immense.

Colly's doing a decent job as well.

Oh and Akmal :laugh

Great comeback from England, if we bat till lunch tomorrow I say that puts us in a commanding position (considering the opposition)

Who'd have thought England would be in such a commanding position after being 118-4?

Could 500 be on the cards?

Today's been a great day for two left-handed no. 6 batsmen - Suresh Raina and Eoin Morgan. Really excited to see how they fare in test cricket from here.

331-4 at the end of the day, cracking stuff. Been a brilliant partnership between Morgan and Collingwood. Superb hundred from the Irishman too, been a fine knock.
