although i remember the last game played at queenstown was rained out too.
and lol at insomniac's post to play in indoor stadiums, how will that work? The roof would have to be atleast 5 MCG levels off the ground, not to mention that the ball might still hit the roof skyed by the batsmen.

Central Otago is on average the driest place in New Zealand....But there is also a truth that such places are highly unpredictable about their weather, you never know what it starts raining.
Increasing fine spells. Cool southwesterlies.
And I laugh at you, because international cricket has been played in indoor stadiums in the past in Australia
The rule in those games were dead ball if it hits the roof. No ball hit the roof, so no issue.
