Pakistan off to an awesome start, but...
Pakistan started off in the worst manner possible, losing both of their openers to Gough's bowling and Trescothick's diving catches within the first 3 overs.
First to go was Younis Khan, who tried to play a square cut on his very first delivery and ended up edging it straight to Trescothick. A couple of overs later Imran Nazir tried to penetrate a shot through the hevily gaurded covers but was caught thanks to a great diving catch by Trescothick.
But losing both of the openers didn't slow Pakistan down at all. The next batsmen in, Shoaib Malik and Muhammad Amir, put up a very fast 30+ runs on the board, hitting almost 10 runs an over, before Harmison was finally able to get through Malik, taking him out at 27 runs.
Inzi, the next man in, did his best to keep up with the runrate but was having a hard time finding the gaps. But in the tenth over, he finally got his head straight and hit Gough for three consecutive boundaries before he unluckily edged one while attempting a leg glance, sending the ball in between the middle and off-stump. Pakistan were now 81/4.
Within the next few overs, Amir and Youhana were able to put up another 29 runs before drinks break, taking the score at 110/4 in 14 overs.
Pakistan are off to a speedy start but need to slow things down a bit or else they'll end up losing more wickets. Amir is batting sensibly right now, and looks determined to put up a big score.
