Vaughan criticizes Amir's bat
In an interview on Pakistan's very famous TV channel's (Geo TV) show "Match Box", the England Cricket Team's captain Michael Vaughan showed his averseness towards the bat that the ICC have allowed Pakistan's new all-rounder Muhammad Amir to use. The bat's colors (black and red along with a big AC/DC logo) are against the ICC regulations but for some reason the ICC have refused to fine him or stop him in any way from using that bat. To date, nobody from the ICC has issued a statement or made a comment on this issue.
"I don't think I'm wrong in saying this, but it seems to me that Amir should be banned from playing cricket anywhere if he keeps using that bat" said Vaughan during the interview which was done two days before the third test match started. Amir has troubled England in this test series with the bat and the ball, and he has been doing some very consistent hitting with that bat, including a match-winning century in the first test.
A few months back, England's famous tabloid newspaper The Sun reported that members of the famous rock band AC/DC (which includes two English band members) had paid off some of the members of ICC so they could enjoy watching Amir play with a bat that has their band's logo on it. The ICC or members of AC/DC refused to comment on this ridiculous accusation.
