puneeth kumar saved us there, we were looking down and out until him and sinha rescued the innings and won us the game with just two overs to spare.

as for my efforts, they were pretty weak with the bat. the bowling wasn't too bad considering i bowled 4 out of 5 of my overs in the death and also managed to pick up 2 wickets.

We had starts, but no one went on the make a big score. If the bowlers had been a little tighter, we could have defended it.

Hopefully two half centuries is enough to make the No. 3 position my own

That's pleasing really. Most of them got wickets and kept runs at bay. Aditya was a bit bad among them. In the chase, our openers failed to give us good start. I and Anubhav made a good century-stand to stabilize our innings. And then, Puneeth played really well under pressure. It was because of him that we managed to secure a win.

I've got two 50-up scores in 2 matches. I guess that should be enough to fix my place at no. 3.
