I was hoping the PCPL would have gotten going by now, and deflect some of the attention away from this looooooooooong delay.

Making someone president doesn't change anything since we still have to synchronize the team files, etc. I've got half a mind to abandon this season......

I will post the matches up now and then hand over my duties. I just don't have the time. I'm away this weekend anyway and so it's better if I just give the sim to Sohum for him to give to someone else.

That would just lead to confusion.

Hopefully treva will get the sim files to me this weekend. I'll post a schedule up later but basically it will be 1 day per match (including FCs).

That sounds about right to me. However, just include a clause that instead of late submission, previous team is used. Posting teams daily can be a bit of a problem...

Depending on what's involved, I might do it.

I now have my hands on the sim and just verified that I'm able to run it using Windows XP Mode on Windows 7! So hopefully we'll get this season into the books this weekend!

What are the plans to bring Cricsim back to life?

I honestly think absolve the whole thing, and start over with a completely new draft with new captains and new teams. (or retain the old ones if they still have an interest)

Basically we had a multitude of problem at the same time, namely:

a) a crappy simulator
b) no concrete simulation team
c) Dean leaving Cricsim duties for personal reasons
