Story PlanetCricket Ashes II - ENGLAND WIN THE ASHES - back in summer 2013!

Hello children. I am aware we are 18 months away from the next Ashes series, but there really is no such thing as a bad time for a chirp between the English and the Aussies.

Back in June 2009 I took members of PlanetCricket and replaced the names of the real players to their usernames in ICC 2008. I then simmed an entire Ashes series, and it was quite fun with the interactive element to it. So why don't we do it again with ICC 2011?

To start with, I need you to pick a player from the squads below. ONE player. I will then assign you that player and you will 'be' them for the series. We had a rather entertaining saga involving WORLD CHAMPIONS being the Australia captain last time - to avoid that I would prefer it if you were English or Australian, but if we are looking to fill up the numbers I'll open it up to others. Players will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Can I just reiterate that I would prefer English or Australian members to pick the names. Those who are not English or Australian have been put next to their chosen names, but if an English or Aussie member would like that player they will be given preference, and the foreigner moved to another player.

RPHKR - I'm going to ask you to pick a different player because this would be much more fun if the England captain was English.
