Give it a miss for another year if you want then but a patched AC09 is well worth having. I agree with you that I can't see how it offers much more than that. A new camera angle doesn't do much for me either. Maybe they're holding something back and will tell us later.
Certainly not going to induce me to shell out on a console and a game.

How stupid do they think we are? "sportsmanship star rating" is not new, its basically the system they had implemented in the betas for quitters.
No stats tracking again! in a cricket game! I have not seen incompetence at this level since George W was president.

Im slightly intrigued by the no HUD mode that could be a slight challenge!
These Q and A always seem to frustrate because anything we really want and seems simple like the stats get ignored!
Stats = many happy customers surely?! Who asked for action cam!? thats what baffles me!

No one asked for it, its a gimmick they include so all the regular gamers get lured in. Its the same as putting a pretty girl in a commercial for toothpaste. ITs meaningless and its only purpose is to get the retards to buy your product under false pretenses.
EDIT: false pretenses in the toothpaste case being that using that product will lead to success with women and false pretenses here being that action cam provides a better cricket experience than stats tracking / other fundamental cricket aspects they ignored

Well from what I have heard on PC, AC09 patched was a decent cricket game. At least we will be buying a playable game with a slightly improved online game play and updated rosters. I honestly do not mind paying $60 for that. Just trying to find the silver lining here.

I'd stand by that.
Re the comment about people not asking for new cameras but it being added anyway - sometimes professional games designers will come up with things that we might not think of.
Here's a potential 'ray of sunshine' for the doom and gloom brigade - with the HUD off mode, you actually see the pitch point, but not the aiming point (i.e. you only see the point once it has resolved from the aiming reticule). The time at which this marker appears is linked to the judgement stat for the batsman.

All I want is a cricket game with licensed teams including domestic teams, decent gameplay with a good ai and a few playing modes. And something similar to be a pro mode on like on fifa would be good.

Meh, game next year will be just a bit of improvement over this year, just like this year its a bit of improvement over Ashes 09. From what I've seen so far I think this game will be well worth buying, its an improves patched Ashes 09 and the hud-off Action-Cam has potential of epic proportions.
Speaking about that I just hope online they force hud OFF. Also I hope they let us play with edited names online. Not too much to ask.
I don't know if they can still do this but really, how much work will it take to just add one more column of Stat online that calculates this :
Number of games disconnected in / Total games played * 100
This won't take any effort and will curb all disconnect problems.
