If you gave Ronnie about 4 season to get used to Pool i have no doubt he'd win a big tournament. Most talented cue sportsman ever.

Hendry was out in the 1st round along with the player of the season so far John Higgins. The Hendry v Bond first round match was fantastic though.

Well its not often Hendry and Higgins go out so early, they had to both be amonst the pretournament favourites! So you are forgiven ;)

Cracking match that one. I thought Bond held his nerve very well.

Steve Davis is going to struggle to beat Shaun Murphy, and I'm impressed with the Aussie, Robertson at the moment. 9-5 up against Steven Lee is good going so far.

Looking forward to Ronnie's 2nd round match. He looked in a different class when beating Dave Harold in the 1st round.

Hope they sort those tables out though!

Yep first time in the Crucible's history the cloth has been changed before going to a single table (from semi final stage)

Its the right decision though, the amount of kicks, and drift has been crazy.

Couldn't agree more, Phil. Its bad for the players and fans and its the worst I've ever seen it.

In one game the comentators were highlighting the amount of finger marks being left when the player bridges or slides his hand to form the bridge. Its as though there is a lot of moisture in the arena. Do they generally use dehumidifiers at venues, and I wonder if they need one in the Crucible at the moment?

Ebdon was on top form yesterday, he carries on like that he could well be a second winner of the event.
