This option is much needed as I am playing FC matches only , so option to skip a game
Or a format will be very helpful.

Can someone please help me!!!! This is the second time that this has happened! Im busy with a game and i save and exit the game. As soon as I put my xbox on again and wants to continue with my career it doesnt give me an option to continue. The only option i have is to start a new career! This is frustrating.... please help me!!!!

no, if you change your spot you will lose captaincy(for that match only), you have to bat at your regular spot to enjoy captaincy.
USE OF Gaining Captaincy
1) You can declare the innings in FC matches
2) You can bowl (if you are proper batsman), any no. of overs at any time in the match.
3) you can change bowlers.
4)You can change the field(not confirmed)
5) you can change batting order (don't change your's to enjoy captaincy)

these are the use i know of, if i got something wrong or forgot ,please do correct me.

Good to gain captaincy and lots of features and to answer to your 4th Point, Yes we can change fielding once you gain captaincy.

Only feature missing is, Need Team Selection and Changing of our batting order!

Hope it comes in future Patch update!

Couldn't agree more. I prefer playing FC and the intl matches but I'm forced to join every match before I can forfeit it. The option to forfeit a match should be on the same screen where you are asked to start a match. Couple of days back it took me nearly half an hour to wade through the Indian T20 League and forfeit the same.

Another thing to keep in mind is that in case I'm a specialist batsman, say top 4, I shouldn't be forced to bowl. Currently you are forced to be an occasional bowler no matter what. Maybe at the time of starting the career, specialist batsmen should be asked whether they want to be an "occasional bowler". If the answer is yes, they should be given a bowl once ever so often but for those who don't want to bowl, they shouldn't be asked to bowl at all.

Take your time, look for singles until your confidence builds, only go for the slog shot if you really need to, you can hit quite a few 4's just with good time and selection. Pretty much how you would play a game IRL in that regard lol :P
