Problems running the blic pc demo anybody?

Hmmm, strangely enough if you are using av nVidia card try using older drivers, the new one aren't so great. Just a thought, worked for me on other games..

i am totatly shocked by this!!! RG said BLIC wont support Integrated graphic well i have tried it and it works smoothly!!! rahul i think 256ram or higher would suit BLIC

i thought the reason why i cant launch the demo was because of my intergrated graphics card. now your saying that intergrated does work so why the **** wont the demo work- ive got a fast enough(just) processor and enough ram so why wont it work.

here is a description of my problem- when you click the icon to run the demo the box comes up saying about display details. on my computer no display options are available to select and when i click launch nothing happens....... :help

Belta I have extreme 3d graphics with 256mb and 40gb will it work in my computer please tell me.

Sohail do you have the same specs as I do like 3d extreme?

Sorry Belta I hope it runs in your computer :(

I am still downloading the game but I wanted to tell you all that there seems to be a problem with the latest Nvidia driver (Geforce and TNT2) at least on my computer. The version of this driver is 77.72 which was released on June 22, 2005. I installed the driver and restarted the computer and played a movie (wmv file) and the picture was all messed up... way too much gamma and brightness. I rolled back to the previous driver and everything was hunky-dory again. I will try out BLIC demo when it is done. Right now I have downloaded 7% and with a 20.9 Kbps it will get over in another 12 hours!!

Oh! and my system specs are:

Pentium 4 2.4 Ghz
768 MB RAM
40 GB HDD
Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 Graphics card (128MB memory)
5.1 DSP (directx 9.0 compatible) sound card
Windows XP SP2

I don't think so... the Recommended Specs say 2 GHZ and seriously for video games the CPU speed does not matter much as much as the video card does. And you seem to be lacking the RAM fardin. Recommended specs for BLIC is 512MB RAM. How much memory does the 3D Extreme Graphics card have??

My game works fine and all. Only the problem is when I start the game it jus directly take me to the Main Menu. It doesn't show the trailer and all that stuff. Also the graphics looks horrible on my laptop. Does anybody have solution for it. Or do I have to buy a new graphics card?

Looks like you don't know a whole lot about CPUs. Not making fun of you or anything but just saying it based on your response. Please don't take it in offensive way please.

Intel makes Pentium chips. They have manufactured Pentuim II, Pentium III and Pentium 4 chips.

Click Start > Run and then type devmgmt.msc and hit enter. The device Management will open up. Expand the Processor option in the tree by clcicking the "+" sign. That is your processor.
