PS3/360 Versions Troubleshooting/Bug Reporting

i doubt anything will happen before the announcement(s) Ross has mentioned which appear to be regarding other games - particularly Rugby World Cup 15, which we assume is essentially confirmed.[DOUBLEPOST=1415607196][/DOUBLEPOST]i doubt anything will happen before the announcement(s) Ross has mentioned which appear to be regarding other games - particularly Rugby World Cup 15, which we assume is essentially confirmed.

I suppose that wouldn't be completely out of the blue, but I haven't seen any hinting that would mean it "essentially confirmed"? With the work on DBC patch, presumably getting next-gen stuff on a Cricket game, presumably a DBC sequel, tabletop cricket, Lacrosse game (although what involvement they still have with that is unsure: it looked to me like their name had been taken off the indiegogo campaign)...

If there's a Rugby game as well, that's a busy studio.

nah it's not confirmed at all just a joke - a while ago when someone mentioned/asked about BA doing a Rugby Union game Ross said he'd love to but it could only work in the context of a World Cup, so I'm just pulling his chain really (as well as obviously hoping there will be one!)

I know that I also mentioned that it would be great if they could make a rugby union game. Especially if you consider that some legwork was already done with the rugby league game. I would assume then it wouldn't be too far fetched if they had something like this in the pipeline. The only thing is that rugby union might only be the 3rd or 4th biggest game in Australia.

The other one might be a sprint car game-

Do you guys in Australia have a V8 super cars game? It's one of the most interesting motorsports in my opinion, but here in South Africa we cannot get that game.

there appears to be some shenanigans on the Wikipedia page for Rugby 15 - London Welsh have the highest rating (joint with New Zealand)

given the licenses sewn up there i'd guess a BA game is unlikely, notwithstanding the academy.

Nope - not for many years.

Would be a good game if they could wrap something around the history of the Falcon and Commodore before they stop making them - the V8s/Touring Cars though the years.

I didn't think they had many licenses - I saw a pre-order for it a few weeks back and it just had a few French domestic sides, unless they've announced more since?

going by the wikipedia page (and, as above it had London Welsh with the same rating as New Zealand, so who knows!) it had French top 14 and Div 2, English Premiership, Celtic Pro12 and also said the six nations were "expected" to be licensed (as were licensed by HB before) and they were negotiating for Super Rugby and the Rugby Championship.

To be quite honest, the way That they messed up rugby union with the last Jonah Lomu game I would be very sceptical to just go and pre order a rugby game.

Was the 6 Nations license when they were making games for EA? If so, I imagine that it would rest with them, rather than HB... At that level of licensing you really need a whole team of people working solely on that: lawyers, marketers, artists, licensing people, designers... It's a huge operation that I suspect would be well beyond HB without a bigger organisation helping.

I worked on the V8 games at Codies - They were really good (The TOCA games were rebranded "V8 Supercars" in Australia and "DTM" in Germany: exact same game though). Pretty sure I could drive around Bathurst blindfolded.

When I had my ps3, my favourite game was TOCA race driver. That was according to me one of the best games ever on ps2. I used to save all my races and re watch them quite often. The presentation and the handling of the vehicles was stunning.
