PS3/360 Versions Troubleshooting/Bug Reporting

Description of Issue / Steps To Replicate:

Bear with me here.

I am batting. I hit the ball to square leg and run. As I come back for the second I see there is a good chance of a third, so I run for it. The throw comes in to the wicketkeeper. It's tight, and I make the other guy dive (I am at this point at the bowler's end). The other batsman dives, the wicketkeeper takes off the bails but too late. Phew!!!

HOWEVER

I have inadvertently queued a fourth run. This sometimes happens, maybe once every ten hours. I've never really known whether it's my gammy fingers or the controller or the program, but it doesn't matter, as this isn't the problem.

My batsman (remember, at the non-strikers end) turns for a fourth. The other batsman is sprawled in the ground about 5m past the stumps at the other end. The wicketkeeper still has the ball in his gloves, so he takes the bails off (again), appeals, and I'm out!! My understanding of Teh Rules™ is that if I can't be run out at that end if the other batsman is lying in his ground.

^^ Are you trying to say that WK hits the broken stumps but you are given out?? If yes then that's a known issue...If you are telling that the batsman goes for the fourth run without you pressing then always have the habit of sliding the bat to get in, then the extra run automatically gets cancelled...

Hi All,

Yesterday i was playing a T20 match in a career mode and found very strange game behavior so request to developers as if this is a bug or just one time instance,

Type: Career Mode
Match: T20
Teams: Glamorgan (my team) vs Somerset (AI)
Role: Captain of Glamorgan
Online ID: mani82ua
Issue: Tied match and then super over came and in that, AI automatically gave Somerset to bat for an over and they scored 5/1 and i was waiting for my turn and suddenly match decision was announced that somerset won in super over without giving my team to bat or chase in super over.

During my career i have seen bowler and Wk Sometimes keep throwing ball at stumps.
they throw the ball and break the stumps then they pick the ball up and again have a go at stumps and again and again, it looks funny every time they do it.

Yeah they do that...

@fiction today I say stump broke without even the ball or the bowler touching the stumps...There was a big gap..

I have had similar - but the other way round.

Playing against AI t20 pro level

I batted my super over then it was announced I had won - without the AI batting against my bowling!

For such peculiar bugs we need video as it's extremely difficult to repro certain bugs - this being one of them.

Sorry if this has been reported before, i couldn't see a search thread option to check.

Get Best: Yes? (We have player names for both sides so i assume he did this, well we are sure on the Ireland team, never having used Afghanistan before my mate isn't 100% names are right)
Difficulty : Amateur (I think)
Game Source : PS3 / Disc
Observed during : Ireland 1st innings

I was batting, and my mate brings a spinner on, the third or fourth ball he bowls a rank leg side wide, i've tried to play a legside shot to it but its too wide for me to reach so no contact. Anyway keeper takes the ball and at this stage i've let go of the controls. Next thing i know my player (I believe it was Porterfield) glitches forward half a meter out of his ground for a second, and the keeper whips the bails off and i am out stumped! I was absolutely livid as i am just getting the hang of the game and can't afford cheap wickets like that!

Description of Issue:
I apologize if this has been covered before but I've been trying to access my saved career mode over the past few days and for some reason the "continue" option is shaded out. I can see the save file when I go into the xbox settings, yet I am unable to actually play it. I was wondering whether there is a way in which I can fix this? Cheers

this may look slightly glitchy but i feel that it capture the feel of batsman going for shots missing it and loosing step and getting stumped. while it doesnt look pretty it sort of cover that area of cricket i guess.

That's just it mate, if it was like that i would be annoyed but thats cricket, he had finished the shot and was actually standing upright like you would before facing up, and then the actual graphic flickered/glitched forward and he was out :O

I said that wasn't the problem.

Honestly, I can't write it any more clearly than what I did. The problem is that the bloke at the non-striker's end gets run out at the batsman's end when the other batsman is lying on the ground next to the wicketkeeper.

Another issue with the Super Over

Me (Essex) v AI (India) - T20 6 team league on Pro Level at Eden Gardens

Game finishes tied

Me (Essex) into bat first - first ball Cook smashes for 4, he's out next ball - enter Quiney - smashes 4, 6, 6 and a 4!

So Essex score 24 - India come in - need 25 to win - so the AI they will really have to go for it! or will it?

Napier (me) bowls to Gambhir (AI) - so AI plays 3 defensive blocks - and is out lbw on the fourth ball - enter next batsmen - AI again plays a defensive block and the last bowl sees him out lbw too!!

India score 0 in their Super Over - How unrealistic is that?? - surely the AI should be programmed to go for it in the Super Over - no??

It was as if the AI thought it was the first over of the game.
