is it not weird for puddleduck to have a vote when he knows everyone's role?

They were used to getting it all. This time things were different. With the lack of direction and unity in the higher echelons of the cricketing hierarchy it would be difficult to trust even the chairman. Where money and fame had brought the easy life before, now only information would be of any value. How much trust could one put in the voice from above, when even his words could be misleading?
Names from throughout the cricketing fraternity were implicated in this sordid affair, but nothing would be as clear-cut as they hoped. Things had perhaps been too easy before. Where once it had been like trying to understand Botham or Lawrie's unsubtle patriotism, now it would be closer to trying to figure out if Mark Nicholas is actually English or Australian.
A wall greeted the first days attempts for information. Threads of thought wafted through like tantalising aromas. Captains of yesterday were sure to appear alongside present incumbents. Leaders of men would have to lead whilst corrupt figures joined each other at the crease of crime.
Dead bats everywhere today. How would the white ball of justice fly under the night sky.
You can however blame a busy day with the GF for my lack of contribution.
