well guys, i got a lil prob with the new patch. i cant use the six hit button at all. the ball just stops a few yards infront after impact. i use the straight drive, advanced cover drive and flick to get most of my runs. before we could have gone over the top with the 6 button or be caught at mid off, but its not goin anywhere. please expalin...thanks

That's because you're not timing it

I changed the account and did find a change. However I could still score freely.

The patch feels alot smoother, as I have said. If you dont time the advance shot perfect you will get out, I found that out the hard way.

So to say someone could always play perfect is possible but not probable. The patch still works wonders.

Can you hit a six YES, can you hit fours yes easily. Do you need to be bloody good to do this YES.

In the long run pushing these huge run rates couldnt or should I say shouldnt be that easy.

Yeah, I found that too- you have to be careful about what balls to hit and then still time it well. After I finished testing I started my World Cup match (SA vs Ind) and I'm 1/109 after 15. The wicket came from a mistimed advance/square drive but for the most part I had to play carefully and restrict my attacking shots to only occasionally.

I found the same. I could blast the ball at a cost. Timing is everything. A big score can be made. But realistically you need to play through the innings then make your run.

ok guys.... to hit over the top....do u hold down the 6 buttonbefore palying the shot or after?

like for over the top will be down+ s to play staright. so do i hold the 6 button then do down+S? OR DOWN +s then 6 button?

Before- go in the nets to check whether you're early or late playing it

And you hold the direction beforehand too- ie. 6 hit + down and then s

Go to the nets. Dont mean to be harsh but honor and glory is found in the journey not it the view once there.

Now I'm used to it I can pretty much hit fours whenever I want to, scored 93 runs in the last 10 overs.

Part 1 of my review.

Bowling

Bowling must be pitched accurately to get wickets, I find that if I beat the bat a couple of times with an off-spinner, the bowl goes overs the stumps, making it harder to get wickets. Edges are now more constant, so you can only blame yourself if you pitch wide and the CPU cuts it and gets an inside edge for four (mostly on fast or medium-fast bowlers). CPU batting is now slightly more aggressive but if you get the field right and pitch the bowl in the right spots, you will get wickets.

All in all to conclude, this patch has made bowling more enjoyful.

Ok started finding the Test series very Hard.

Im being kept to 4 an over. The bowling length is killing me. Alot well wide which arent being called wide. So wide that I cant hit a shot though.

Well not with out playing silly shot that would result in a wicket.

All others are alot more difficult. Bang one four with an advance shot and got out with the next. So Im hanging of the slog.

I am using Bangladesh so that could be what is holding me back some.

Still enjoying the result at present.
