Not having Munaf in Tier A is like not having Aamir Khan in a list of best bollywood actors with the first name Aamir!

Maybe I'm missing it, but the list isn't out, is it? If it is, we can begin the draft right now.

I am yet to get a hand on the game. Hope to get it by 3rd April..let see...

Right, I mixed up valerian and kushari, sorry. I haven't had time to go through those threads regarding the gameplay. I heard about a few glitches. All I hope is that we can play a long innings online without either player getting bored.

@kainkareswar this league is in a different format were you can only retain 3 icon players from TN team. The rest comprise of International Tier2/3/4 Indian Players and Associate nation players.

True. I was thinking before the actual matches start, we should go for a friendly game against opponents who are not in the same group. Nothing better that testing the skills against human opponents. What do you say?

We could all set up friendlies, yes, as long as it doesn't interfere with the actual league commitments. I'd be happy to play a few overs with my team.

I don't see the real tournament beginning before May in any case.

If we are starting only in May, I guess last week of April would be ideal. Maybe a 60 over match with 30 overs max for each team. If the team bats for 20 overs in the first innings, they can use only 10 in the 2nd innings. It will give us a feel about our team combination.

Rules for the India Tier C & D Draft


Very simple.

Pick a player from the list that @Ishaan k will provide. Make your pick within 12 hours of the previous pick, otherwise the draft will continue with the next person in the list (that said, please do not wait for 12 hours - try and keep the draft running so that we end by the weekend). If you miss your pick, you can re-enter to make your pick at any time. Noone needs to be online at the same time.

The order of picking is provided below. Draft starts from manager number 1 all the way down to manager number 9, then up from manager 9 to manager 1, then down again from manager 1 to manager 9, and finally up again, ending with manager 1. 36 players are to be picked. The first round must contain Tier C players only.

Rules for trades

Again, this is very simple.

There will be a trading window that opens immediately after the draft ends. It lasts until a few days before the actual fixtures, which is when Ishaan will create the teams on CA.

To trade, nominate a trade on this thread. Mention who you want to trade out, and if you want, mention which player or what type of player you want to trade in. All trades need to be made publicly on this thread.

All trades are open to every other manager, and do not need to be for players from the same category. A Tier A player can, for instance, be traded with a Tier C player. To prevent ungamely conduct, any completed trade can be flagged as UNSPORTING by the other managers. To do so, just quote the trade that you think is creating an imbalance or is biased towards one of the teams, and reply saying UNSPORTING. If two or more managers flag a trade as UNSPORTING within a 12 hour time limit of the trade being made, then the trade will be rejected.

Icons and Legends cannot be traded.
