Hodge Strikes Twice B.Hodge strikes twice for Australia to reduce All Stars to 260/3. After completing there hundreds Zain Awan and No_remorse28 started smashing bowlers all over the place especially Lee and Hodge. They scored 48 runs in just 5.1 overs before Hodge strikes. First to go was No_remorse28 who after smashing Hodge for a six was looking again for a big hit but missed the ball and was bowled. He scored 116 runs.
Next to go was Ganguly the captain. He was in my opinion victim of bad umpiring the ball was going on leg side and umpire judged that one LBW. Now All Stars looks in trouble.
Warne answers captains call R.Ponting read the script well and seeing All Stars in trouble brings back his legendry spinner S.Warne. Who answering the captains calls picked up two more wickets. First to go was G.Thorpe who charged down the pitch to smash Warne out of ground only to mistime the ball and getting caught on the pitch.
Second to go was T.Taibu who was LBW on a wonderfully disguised googly and Taibu really did not have any answer to that one.
Now All Stars are in real trouble at 261/5. 4 wickets in 11 balls with the addition of only one run. Are they going to collapse again?
Session ends with one more gone Second session of the day also ends with one more wicket for Australia. This time to go was Shezad who was runout taking a risky single.
Nitesh Hemlani was supporting well Zain Awan when umpires decided to take bails off for Tea.
