SA or India : The Real Challengers To Australia`s Throne.

Lol, I've confused myself. Khan has done very well in England. Sharma has not bowled for India's first team in England, therefore, he has not performed in England for India's first team, therefore, he is a crap bowler.

Yes, cause that logic makes sense ;)

Sharma might not do so well in England, he isn't a big swinger of the new ball...

South Africa start as favourites to claim the top spot this year! But India is more creative, might just turn the tables on SA!:)

Also the fielding bit is overrated I think. Sure it's important, but it's not going to win you matches. As long as they don't drop too many catches, India should be fine in the fielding department.

I agree. Zaheer's been immensely impressive in the past year or so. He started to show this sort of form in England when he was swinging the ball away from the right handers from round the wicket. He conventionally swings the ball both ways, and also uses reverse swing very early on and very effectively. He's probably one of the best Death Bowlers in ODi cricket and considering he plays most of his cricket in India, he's done very well. Although the stats don't prove him to be up there with the likes of Steyn, he most certainly is. I'm a big Zaheer Khan fan.

He gets a bit of movement doesn't he? He gets seam, he has a great seam position.

Dropping Zaheer from the Test line-up is currently one of the stupidest things an Indian selector can do.

Yeah agreed, he has great variations and is in great form.

Yes, also tests have more time unlike ODI's or T20's and so, you have more time to make up for your fielding lapses with your batting or bowling.

He gets great seam movement and reverse swing. I really want to see him in Lords, I think he could be terrific there...
