Yeah Watto probably shouldn't be dropped. Hopefully he bowls well as well.

Get lost Feelin Blue. Your stupid NSW bias is ridiculous now, oh no, bring back Hughes he is our saviour. Watson has stood up under pressure and hit a quality knock, and yet you are still calling for his head. He TOP SCORED for the Australians and yet you are still wanking over Hughes. How can you count that as a duck you ******, he scored runs under pressure. Sure, Hughes has great potential, but do we want him hitting more ducks? Give the lad time to improve. Yes, one innings does not make Watson a star, but surely you can't still be calling for his head.

Your ridiculous bias towards NSW players has gone beyond funny now. You're turning into a Grade A idiot.

Watson is a NSW player mate. Unlucky.

I think he has potential... but there are plenty of people with potential that never completely become what they should be... KP is a great example of this

KP may play the odd stupid shot but hes going into the prime age for a batter and hes averaging nearly 50 for Test cricket certainly not that far off from his potential unless you are expecting him to be Bradman.

Back on Watson, interesting stats someone pointed out.

1st test - out caught and dnb
2nd test - out lbw and and caught behind
3rd test - out lbw and dnb
4th test - out bowled and bowled
5th test - out lbw and lbw
6th test - out bowled and dnb
7th test - out bowled and caught behind
8th test - out caught behind and lbw
9th test - out lbw

IIRC the Channel 9 commentators were saying your LBW and bowled stats should be around 20% of the total maybe less. Watson is going at 70%.

Just looking at him bat he should be averaging more than he is, which is still not bad at 49. He should be one of the best batsman in the world on mear talent alone... but he doesnt alwasy have the head for test cricket. Shane watson has a good technique, i dont really think he is an opening batsman but he would propably walk into must county teams as a number 4-5. He does need to work on his action so that he doesnt break down every 3 ball lol

Watson technique is good until a straight ball comes along where he seems to miss it. Hence he has so many LBW/Bowled. Certainly something he needs to work on as it is only a matter of time before the opposition spot this.
