The Pakistani batsmen continued to give thrashing to all Australian bowlers. Mohamad Yousuf played a brilliant inning of 55 before being boled by Hogg. The target now for Australia is 279 runs in the second inning. It is not going to be easy for Australia to chase in these condition against the owling attack of Shoaib, Sami and Kaneria.

Now the Australian openers Katich and Gilchrist are making their way to the ground followed by the Pakistani team. Shoaib Akhtar will bow the first over of the second inning. The Australian openers started of with a disaster as Gilchrist was dismissed on third ball of the inning for a duck. Gillchrist edged to a beautiful outswinger from shoaib straight to Naved at second slip. After Gillchrist, Australian Captain Ricky Ponting came to the crease to join Katich. Both batsmen then build on a good but slow partnership for second wicket and ttok the Australian score to 59 in 15 overs with required run rate more then 6 run per over.

Yeah Kaneria and Afridi can be very dangerous for Australia. Its good that they have saved wickets but the required run rate is also climbing quickly.

Pakistan bowlers kept it tight in middle overs and didnot allowed Australian bowlers to take any free runs and made them work for every run. Although Australia has lost only 2 wickets so far but the required run rate has climbed up to more then 8 run an over.
