What do u think abt the latest version v3.0B of the patch?

So when are you going to release new patch and have you amended pull shot ,cover drive etc?Waiting for your next effort.
 
Hey Sid......What do you do if your bowling first though?
Do I just install the 1.2beta on page one?

Sid u prove that u r the best,after playing all the A.I.patches i feel ur one is the best and more realistic.

Thanks ill be soon releasing my v1.2.Hope ull like that too.

The v1.2 is not too far away,little busy now as i am working on the mega patch as well.The cover drive has been finished,pull partially done,dont worry its going to be a really good patch.What do u think abt v1.2(b) Beta.You havent let me know abt it yet.

Sid ,I think you should develop 2 patches and one should be for normal gamers and other should be for hardcore gamers where batting is more tough and realistic,where hitting yorkers for 4s and 6s is not and easy job to do.Where there is more swing,seam and spin.You cannot hit the strokes against lines and 6s particularly are not easy to come by.I hope you will consider it.So far ,you have done nice job.Keep it up.

I tried your patch after yorkshire No1 said you had fixed the medium pacer problem.

But it is still just the same to me. If you bowl to them short'ish, around
off, or just outside off, then they can't hit the ball, and are usually out in
quick time. Also, they get bogged down by the spinners, something that
tutsi addressed in his patch.

This is all bowling first!

What I really loved about your patch was fast bowling. They troubled
the batsman much more than with tutsi patch, and it felt very realistic.
Think they might get hit around too much with tutsi's.

I tried the batting, and found it very hard to pierce the field and get more
than a 2.30 overate, this is without using the six shot.
Seem to be just a routine of hit to the field every 10 balls with a four
thrown in for good measure every now and then.

Didn't try your fields as couldn't be bothered hand installing every file.
Are you able to supply your fields already in .xml format please. :cheers

I'll try to sort the medium pacer problem,Piercing the gaps is very tough with the standard fields so pls use my fields as there are related with the ai.Thanks for the positive reply on fast bowling.

Ill consider your option,but it cant be donw for v1.2 as its in the final stages,maybe for the next version.

Changes from v1.0

1)Favours Intermediate players:Suited to intermediate players who like
piercing the fields for boundaries.

2)Shots tweaked:Shots like,cover drive,straight drive,pull,and other
shots have been tweaked for optimum performance.

3)AI pacing:The CPU while changing innings paces its innings according
to the target.For those who want to use this feature,they can choose to
change the three files provided inside accordingly from the sub-zip files,
for those who want to save themselves from this can use the default
pacing files which are present in the main zipfile.

4)Challenging yet easy:A special feature has been added where six hit
shots particularly through the leg side,if timed properly may even
clear the ropes but if timed slightly incorrectly may end up being
caught.

5)Customised fields for odi's:A special customised set of fields have
been used directly from the fields used in real cricket matches where
the cpu(and user) sets his fields according to the game situation.
Also major bug corrected is that in the first fifteen overs there are
always two catching fielders.

6)Other small changes.

Installation:Install the two .big files to your cricket 2005 root
directory.For those who want to use the seperate cpu pacing.Install
them to your root directory according to the situation.

ODI Fields-Use Field Editor v1.1 to import the fields.
