So the console users were indeed guinea pigs...

Nintendo are fine by me they do their own thing and stick to it. There's not one console exclusive besides Red Dead Redemption that I'm sad to not have on PC. I played that on the 360 and Bloodborne too but Dark Souls is way better.

From all the whinging from the console crowd it still seems like the PC version is better. Batting problems post patch 3? Not on PC. FPS stutter with the bowling running up? Shout out to unlocked frame rates. Do you guys have cover drives yet? Lol. Just because the game is designed for an inferior platform doesn't mean the PC version isn't the best experience. You should've used Arkham Knight as an example.

Never played Arkham Knight. The reviews put me right off. Come to think of it, I never played it on console neither.

Big ant I no your going to see this could we expect a patch would u say a Mounth or two

Yeah we make up 2%, so the game sold about 20k on console in 2 months but whether that's good or bad I don't know.

You got the numbers wrong. If we were to assume PC sold 3k copies (taking a cautious number based on stats from SteamSpy) and it forms just 2% of the overall sales, then surely the number of copies sold on Consoles would be more than 150k.

Where did you pull that random number from and tell me I'm wrong? There's 109 reviews on steam which gives me at least a factual ball park instead of pulling numbers from thin air like you

Until they actually collate the problems and then calculate solutions that wont break other solutions to problems then no. However, if you're from generation snow flake then let's say Monday in two weeks, petal? Must now give them time to get things right.[DOUBLEPOST=1487627625][/DOUBLEPOST]
Oh no it's not...

I'm glad petal has become a thing.

Pay attention mate. You've already been told it's from Steamspy.

2908 people own it on PC according to Steamspy.

Steamcharts numbers are fairly in line with that too - it's performed *slightly* lower than DBC14 thus far. Steamspy reports that DBC14 has made it to about 20k now, so 3k for DBC17 so far seems like it's on track to repeat that.

"Less than 2%" is progress on Ashes 09, which I remember was definitely less than 1%.

NB: Let's not start with the snowflake/triggered etc stuff? I value it as a way to recognise when someone has run out of actual arguments and has resorted to patronising people instead, but it's no way to improve matters.

Yep and they both get their data straight from the horses mouth, so to speak. Direct from Valve via the Steamworks Web API.

Me too, so many sensitive soles but also many inflammatory soles and then there're the ones that don't read posts and argue against it for boredom's sake.

No idea where Petal came from...? Snowflake is from generation snowflake the people alleged my age that want everything now, it doesn't happen deal with it 'petal' (as in patch 4, sit and chill).

It's not 100%, but it gives a good idea. It's the only way to get digital data. In the old days I did a PSN/XBLA game, and the only way to judge early sales figures for MY OWN GAME (because the sales reports wouldn't come in for several weeks later) was to watch the numbers on the leaderboards! That, at least, has improved - but it's almost still the only way to judge someone else's game.

I love it when people are too easily offended. It's a great excuse to show them this video.

I know, BA look committed to sorting things out but it'll take time. It grates me to see these demands being made and with patch three we have more problems in a long term product. Let's post funny videos do some yoga, chill out and wait with patience. It'll all be good in the end.

Some folk seem to have conveniently forgotten that there were things that were wrong with DBC 14 too when that was released 3 years ago. Rose tinted spectacles and all that. That game came good, so there's no reason why this won't.

Not taking anyone's side here but I think what people are trying to understand is how a second iteration of game can get quite a few things wrong when the first one was a success in most of those very areas.

Like someone had mentioned here, BA tried to appease everyone and in doing so overdid a lot of the stuff and dug themselves a hole. While BA's intention was certainly admirable and something that is praiseworthy, perhaps they should have kept the Women's aspect of the game and the Stadium Creator for future iterations. An in-dept Career mode (which it already is now) and maybe a couple of cosmetic stuff was worthy enough of a new iteration of the game.

But you're right. There is no doubt in my mind that everything's gonna be sorted out and DBC17 will become the new DBC14 in time.

I prefer:

PS: For those above, SteamSpy includes, but "guesses", revenue/non-revenue test, and in DBC14's case, Retail, and can be way out on smaller numbers for games like DBC/17.
