Oh how I miss the firey Sreesanth in the International arena. On the punishments depends what he said, if its a personal abuse then fair enough, if it was a little banter or a few swear words then the BCCI need to harden up.

We all miss him too. Its a matter of time before he makes his comeback. We need his fire and aggression. We have been too soft lately and I feel we look a different (and much better!) team when we are aggressive (e.g. Australia 2007, Twenty20 WC 2007). We want Uthappa back too. Both these guys display aggressive personality and lift the team

Leave Sreesanth alone already. His tantrums = Ratings.

Ratings = Profit.

Heck they realize that too, that's why the stipulation says only ban from "Domestic" cricket :P

Besides, he's the only bowler in our attack who bowls with some real aggression. This is the kind of stuff that inspires youngsters to bowl fast too.

Sreesanth can be a little over enthusiastic sometimes...
Did anyone see something in the news where Sreesanth said that he wasn't crying because he was slapped by Harbhajan, he was crying because Preity Zinta was hugging Brett Lee and not him :laugh

Aah...last week there was a "bring back Sreesanth" thread in which i hinted at something like this happening and it indeed has!

Sreesanth has some mental abnormalities which cause him to become an animal on the field because off-field,he's a really nice chap.

He literally tried to kill Kevin Pietersen when he bowled that beamer to him in 2007 just because he couldn't get him out.

I doubt Sreesanth will be forced to end his career before he reach 28.Sreesanth is a good bowler with great potential,but lack the support that others like Ishant get.Ishant and RP carried around in the team for a long time,even when they are not performing.This all start happening after that faqing slap incident,in which harbhajan did all the wrong things.
Poor Sreesanth,he is always the wrong guy at wrong place in wrong time .

What?!

It slipped. It happens to the best of fast bowlers, it was a crazy delivery anyways. When you try to bowl fast and full, sometimes you let it go too quickly and you'll bowl a beamer accidentally. It was NOT intentional. :sarcasm

We can say the same thing about Brett Lee to Sachin in the CB series, which was bowled quicker and actually hit Tendulkar on the grill.

India needs aggressive bowler like sreeshanth otherwise BCCI have to keep changing the bowling coach (we don't want some bowlers like to show entire teeth:Dto batsman after hitting to boundary) i don't want to mentioned particular bowlers name

Put Sreeshanth in a room with Hayden, Symonds and Harbhajan.That will make him behave.:D

He will manage. On the field, he has managed to eyeball Hayden and Symonds (remember the T20 WC 2007 and the India-Australia series immediately following that?). He cried at that Bhajji slap because he never expected it from a very close friend and team mate. If he faces such a situation now, he will react far better (and maybe give back some in his own way). Most of the Indian players did not like the IPL's aggressive nature because it made them become foes to their own team mates (even Yuvraj mentioned in some post match presentation about how some players got too personal and that they played for India together).
