My XI for tonight:
1. B McCullum
2. Guptill
3. Styris
4. Broom
5. Oram
6. Franklin
7. McGlashan
8. N McCullum
9. Mills
10. Butler
11. O'Brien
Presuming Taylor is out. Batting order can change depending on circumstance. It's only Ireland (not to underestimate them or anything) but by that I mean, there's no real pace bowling or anything which should trouble guys like Styris/Broom/Franklin/Oram if they were to come in early.
O'Brien didn't look great game 1, but he deserves another chance and Diamanti is even worse than him. I'm more comfortable thinking of O'Brien bowling 4 overs than I am of Diamanti bowling 4.
all the kiwis need to do is beat ireland and maybe srilanka, ireland will lose to both sl and eng, england will throw away their games, so beat ireland and you are good

The last time NZ played Ireland in an ODI was the game where McCullum and Marshall smashed 160+ each with Taylor also hitting a 24ball half century...A T20 shouldn't have a very different outcome...
Last yime there was vettori who took most of the wickets and too was a depleted irish side.Players like O'Brien brothers,Rankinand Johnston were not there
This has match no Vettori,Ryder,Franklin,Taylor and still you think Kiwi's win it???
There bowling attack lacks fire and penetration power[No quality spinner or fast bowler].And batting relies on Mcullum and he is not in great form for me he is the most inconsistent player of the lot. With Nial and Johnston back I fancy the irish. And never underestimate them they are a team who know conditions as good as England and they have a intent do things.I go with Irish as my heart says so
