Sussex have Gotten to the 2010 Season, and are ready to Begin. They have changed a lot from the 2006 Season with Plenty of new Signings. Also Zohaib Ahmed has gotten a 2 year Contract with the Sussex Sharks. New players like Jamie Dayrmple, Mal Loye, Ian Blackwell, Alex Loudon, Stuart Broad, Ryan Sidebottom, and the 2 new International players, Shahid Afridi who had a terrific 2009 Season, and Mitchell Johnson, of Austrailia has signed up. Johnson taking the place fo Asif, as he is too busy playing his International games.

Here is the 2010 Sussex Squad:

Looking at the Start of the First Game of the Season for Sussex, a big one for Zohaib Ahmed, and for Sussex. These are 2 very tough teams. We're down on the Pitch with Goodwin, the Sussex Captain.

The Story is that Sussex have won the toss and Batted any reasons to that Goodwin?

Goodwin said:
Well we are looking to get a large total on this Pitch and put Somerset out of the game once we've finished our Innings. We have a good Attack with Zohaib, Sidebottom, and Broad, and we have the Handy All-rounders. We'll be looking for a total around 500 and then hopefully bowl well.

There you go, the words of Goodwin, making it very clear. Anyways, heres the Situation so far.

And the Line up for Sussex, looks Fairly good. No Loudon or Loye in there, but Zohaib Ahmed, Mitchell Johnson, and Sidebottom will make their Debut today for Sussex.

Afridi Starts off with a Huge Six, he just Cliped it away. Well, we see that Afridi is picking up where he left from.

Classic Cover Drive, absouloutly amazing! Timed to perfection by Newman, as Sussex are rolling along now. 30/0.

Wicket11.jpg

Has this gotten through?! The Bails fall off, Afridi has Inside Edged it onto his own stumps, and Somerset have their First wicket of the day! Well, It was a good ball, came back in a lot, and just managed to fool Afridi.

Nice batting by Afridi. Shame for Sussex, he didn't continue with it.

Hope to see Zoahib Ahmed amongst the best in the bussiness this season.

:cheers
